how can I use distribution property to multiply a 2 digit number by a 1 digit number?

You can grab the number form the tens place and add a 0 behind it at the end then multiply by the one digit number. Then  you can grab the number from the ones place and multiply it by the one digit number. Finally you would add the both numbers that you multiplied and you would get your answer.
